Finance Analyst

An exciting opportunity is available for a Finance Analyst to join a financial services environment in a role focused on product profitability, portfolio analytics, financial reporting and finance systems.

The position will provide accurate and insightful financial information to support pricing, product and executive decision-making. You will work closely with Finance, IT, Product, Analytics and other business stakeholders to strengthen reporting, data integrity and financial processes. Duties & Responsibilities

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with financial data, systems and reporting, with a strong focus on automation, analysis and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Deliver monthly and quarterly product profitability reporting, including revenue, claims, expenses, margins and variance analysis.

• Analyse portfolio performance across products, channels and segments.

• Identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.

• Support pricing reviews, business cases, forecasting and budgeting through accurate financial inputs and scenario analysis.

• Track and report benefits from pricing, product and automation initiatives.

Systems, Data & Automation

• Manage and enhance finance systems, including ERP systems, sub-ledgers and reporting tools.

• Develop and automate reporting processes, dashboards and standardized metrics.

• Maintain data integrity through reconciliations, master data controls and issue resolution.

• Coordinate UAT, system changes and reporting enhancements, ensuring accurate and successful deployment.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as a key liaison between Finance, Product, Analytics, IT and external vendors.

• Support user training on reporting tools.

• Work with Finance and IT teams to resolve data and system-related issues.

Job Experience and Skills Required

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.

• 3–5 years’ experience in financial analysis, management accounting, reporting or finance systems.

• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills.

• Power BI and SQL experience preferred.

• Understanding of ERP systems, reconciliations and financial controls.

• Experience within insurance or financial services will be advantageous.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.

• Systems and process-oriented mindset, with a focus on automation and efficiency.

• Ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.

• Strong stakeholder communication skills across Finance, IT and business teams.
