Duties & Responsibilities
Job Description
- Collect, analyse, and validate financial and operational data
- Monitor project costs, budgets, and resource allocation
- Track project time and expenditure to support financial reporting
- Prepare financial models, forecasts, and budget reports
- Conduct variance analysis and investigate cost deviations
- and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and performance metrics
- month-end reporting, reconciliations, and financial close processes
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial information
- Improve reporting processes through automation and continuous enhancement
- Ensure financial data integrity and compliance with reporting requirements
Skills & Experience
- Tertiary degree
- Minimum 1 – 3 years’ experience in a financial analyst, Project accounting or data analytics role
- Advanced Excel including manipulating large data sets
- Exposure to writing fomulas and designing visual presentations in Power BI
Qualification
- BCom Qualification in finance, analytics or accounting
