Job Title: Finance Administrator Start Date: 2026-08-19 - 2026-08-26 Vacancy Type: Permanent JHB008138 Sectors: Finance Location: Gauteng , Edenvale Salary: R 25000 - R 29000 Brief: We are seeking a highly organised, detail-oriented and proactive Finance Administrator to join a dynamic Finance Department. This role is responsible for providing essential administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth running of daily and monthly financial activities. The successful candidate will work across a broad range of finance administration functions, including inventory, purchasing, asset management, reconciliations, record keeping, audit preparation and general finance support. The role requires an individual who is accurate, numerate, methodical and able to work effectively under pressure while managing multiple priorities. Detail: Inventory Management Conduct and capture daily and quarterly stock counts. Assist with investigating and resolving stock variances. Maintain accurate stock records and process stock adjustments. Assist with stock-related queries by reviewing physical stock and system transactions. Maintain electronic records of Bill of Materials (BOM) changes. Purchasing & Procurement Administration Manage the ordering of non-stock items from approved suppliers. Obtain quotations for non-regular purchases and submit them for authorisation. Prepare and process purchase orders in line with approval requirements. Maintain accurate records and monthly purchasing schedules. Assist with the effective management of stationery, grocery and other non-stock requirements. Asset Management Conduct quarterly asset checks. Maintain asset registers and record asset movements. Process documentation for new, transferred and disposed assets. Complete asset tagging and reconcile assets to the relevant registers and general ledger accounts. Finance Administration & Record Keeping Maintain accurate financial databases and supporting schedules. Update monthly registers, including sundry creditors and loan registers. Maintain organised physical and electronic filing systems. Assist the Finance Department with general administrative and ad-hoc requirements. Audit & Reconciliations Assist with VAT audit documentation and audit preparation. Prepare supporting documentation for selected general ledger accounts. Assist with monthly balance sheet account reconciliations. Support general, final audit and BBBEE audit preparation processes. Quality, Compliance & Continuous Improvement Work in accordance with the company's Health & Safety principles and Quality Management System (QMS). Ensure that relevant QMS documentation is correctly maintained and version controlled. Assist with the documentation, investigation and closure of non-conformances and corrective actions. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, best practices and effective departmental procedures. Minimum Requirements Matric / Grade 12. Basic Bookkeeping qualification and/or relevant tertiary qualification. 5–10 years' experience in a related finance or accounting environment. Strong computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and OneDrive . Practical accounting or finance experience with strong numerical ability. A valid driver's licence would be advantageous due to occasional travel to the Pretoria offices.
