This is an excellent opportunity for a well-organised and detail-oriented finance professional with strong administrative and numerical skills to grow within a fast-paced and supportive environment. Detail: Purpose of the Role To provide accurate and efficient financial and administrative support to the finance department, ensuring the timely processing of transactions, accurate record keeping, reconciliations and smooth day-to-day financial operations. Key Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To: Processing supplier invoices and customer transactions Capturing and allocating payments and receipts Reconciling supplier, customer and bank accounts Preparing payment schedules and assisting with payment processing Following up on outstanding accounts and resolving discrepancies Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting documentation Assisting with debtors and creditors administration Preparing and processing journals as required Assisting with month-end reporting and financial close processes Assisting with VAT and other financial compliance requirements Maintaining organised electronic and physical filing systems Capturing and maintaining accurate financial data on the accounting system Assisting with audits and providing supporting documentation when required Providing general finance and administrative support to the finance team Criteria: Grade 12 with a relevant Diploma or Certificate in Accounting, Finance or Bookkeeping preferred 2–3 years' experience in a finance administration, creditors, debtors or accounting support role Experience within the FMCG, retail or manufacturing environment advantageous Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems Strong numerical and reconciliation skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Good organisational and time management skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Strong communication and interpersonal skills Professional, reliable and methodical approach to work Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team show more...
