Introduction

Premium Personnel is inviting applications for a dedicated Finance Administrator. This critical role involves providing high-level financial and administrative support to colleagues, clients and business stakeholders . Your primary purpose will be managing daily financial health, tracking profitability across diverse sectors, and ensuring total statutory compliance to drive the business forward.

Duties & Responsibilities

Accounts Payable and Receivable

  • Process quotations and invoices accurately on Sage before submission
  • Manage collections of recievables and ensure timely payments to creditors
  • Reconcile accounts payable weekly and handle customer statement notifications.
  • Manage age analysis to ensure all outstanding balances do not exceed 30 days.

Profit and Loss Management

  • Oversee job costing across all sectors (Workshop, Rentals, Components, Field Services).
  • Allocate labor, consumables, and patsto specific projects and create job numbers
  • Provide weekly feedback on project financial performance and analyze profit/loss margins

Budegeting and Financial Analysis

  • Prepare monthly and annual operating budgets for presentation to the Executive Director.
  • Track budget deviations and monitor overall compliance within allocated financia constraints
  • Analyze financial data continuously to verify that company targets are being actively met

Statutory Compliance and Service Providers

  • Ensure VAT submissions are finalized and submitted by the 25th of every month
  • Oversee PAYE deductions and ensure they are paid within the required monthly timeframes
  • Review monthly management accounts and statutory reconciliations by the 15th of each month
  • Manage external service providers t ensure absolute compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs)

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Proven experience as a Finance Officer with strong hands-on accounting skills
  • Software Systems - Must have working knowledge and hands-on experience using Sage accounting software.
  • Comprehensive understanding of South African tax compliance (VAT, PAYE and statutory submissions).
  • Exceptional project costing , age analysis and budget management abilities
  • Precise attenton to detail to enusre zero compliance penalties and accurate financial financial forecasting
