• Some experience installing and configuring IP and analog CCTV systems • Understanding of Wi-Fi setups, IP addressing, port forwarding and basic router configurations • Proficiency with hand/power tools, cabling, crimping and conduit installation • Excellent communication skills with a professional, customer-first attitude • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record (company vehicle may be provided) • Ability to work independently at various residential and commercial sites Responsibilities
- Mount, wire, and position CCTV cameras, NVRs/DVRs, and power supplies neatly and securely
- Configure internet, Wi-Fi routers, access points, and switches to ensure seamless remote viewing capabilities for clients
- Test all installed systems and train clients on how to use monitoring software and mobile applications
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, cabling, or network connectivity issues efficiently
- Evaluate client premises to recommend optimal camera placement and networking setups
Salary: R negotiable dependent on experience
