Core Criteria
- FGASA qualification
- DEAT registration
- Valid PDP
- Valid First Aid certification
- Other relevant guiding certifications advantageous
- Comfortable working and living in a remote lodge environment
- Strong knowledge of Big Five behaviour, bush ecology, and tracking
- Excellent guest interaction and storytelling ability
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work well as part of a team
Candidate Responsibilities
• Conduct morning and afternoon game drives, sharing knowledge of flora, fauna, and Big Five behaviour • Ensure guest safety at all times during drives and walks • Maintain and check guiding vehicle for roadworthiness and cleanliness • Build rapport with guests to create a memorable, personal safari experience • Assist with general lodge and guiding operations as needed Package Offer:
