FICA Compliance Officer

Auction Nation is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive FICA Compliance Officer to oversee and strengthen the organization's compliance framework in line with the Financial Intelligence Centre Act (FICA) and related regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that customer onboarding, due diligence processes, record-keeping, and reporting obligations are effectively managed and maintained. Key Responsibilities Ensure ongoing compliance with FICA and related anti-money laundering (AML) regulations. Conduct and oversee customer due diligence (CDD) and Know Your Customer (KYC) processes. Verify and maintain customer identification and verification records. Monitor transactions and identify unusual or suspicious activity. Investigate compliance-related matters and escalate findings where necessary. Maintain accurate compliance records, registers, and supporting documentation. Prepare and submit regulatory reports as required. Conduct compliance risk assessments and recommend corrective actions. Review and update compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls. Provide guidance and training to employees on FICA and compliance requirements. Assist with internal and external compliance audits. Stay informed of legislative and regulatory developments affecting the business.
