Financial Services company based in Johannesburg is looking for an experienced Feature Analyst / Business Analyst with strong cross-border payments knowledge to join a leading banking environment. This role will work closely with product owners, business stakeholders, and technology teams to translate business requirements into well-defined features that support international payment capabilities.
9-month Contract with possibility to renew.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and document business requirements related to cross-border and international payment processes .
- Translate requirements into clear functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria .
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and development teams to deliver payment features.
- Ensure solutions comply with regulatory, compliance, and banking standards related to international payments.
- Participate in solution design, testing, and implementation support .
- Identify opportunities to improve payment workflows, efficiency, and customer experience .
Desired Experience & Qualification
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst / Feature Analyst within banking or financial services .
- Strong experience with cross-border payments, SWIFT, international transfers, or correspondent banking .
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments .
- Strong skills in requirements gathering, process analysis, and documentation .
- Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders .
Preferred
- Exposure to SWIFT messaging (MT / ISO 20022) .
- Experience working on payment platforms or core banking systems .
