We’re Hiring a Dynamic Farm Manager!
Are you a passionate and experienced farm professional ready to lead in one of South Africa’s prime citrus regions? Join our team in the lush Citrus Valley of Patensie , where we grow excellence from the ground up. We’re looking for a hands-on, people-focused Farm Manager to oversee daily operations and drive productivity across our farm.
If you're confident managing large teams, skilled in crop and water management, and ready to make an impact — this is the role for you!
Duties & Responsibilities
Lead and manage a workforce of 200+ employees
Oversee crop spraying, harvesting, slashing, and irrigation activities
Implement and monitor effective workforce and productivity strategies
Manage disease and pest control
Supervise water usage and tree pruning
Establish and maintain new orchards
Ensure ongoing practical maintenance of farm infrastructure
Prepare for and manage farm audits
Desired Experience & Qualification
Matric (Grade 12)
Agricultural qualification or relevant certification (advantageous)
Minimum 5 years’ experience in citrus/fruit/vegetable farming
Strong leadership and conflict management skills
Experience managing diverse teams and working with different cultures
Resilient, emotionally mature, and capable of working under pressure
Excellent planning, organising, and people management skills
Computer literacy in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Quality and results-driven team player
