Minimum Requirements

Senior certificate Grade 12 or equivalent qualification;
A minimum of 1 year relevant experience; A valid Code 8 driving licence.

Key Performance Areas

Oversee the execution of routine activities in respect of crop production; Oversee the execution of routine activities in respect of livestock;
Oversee the execution of general farm routine activities;
Oversee the execution of general routine activities in respect of infrastructure and Perform all administrative and related functions.

Competencies

Knowledge and good understanding of the following: Livestock management record keeping; Technical expertise and knowledge in crop production methods irrigation, planting and fertilization; Infrstructure maintenance Building of new fences and pipelines; Equipment maintenance;
Skills in the following: Computer literacy in MS Office Package Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Communication written and verbal; Staff supervision; Operational management; Problem-solving; Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
