Factory Administrator

Introduction

Factory Administrator required for a company based in Rosslyn with;

Duties & Responsibilities

• Grade 12

• 5 years in a similar working environment

• Exposure to heavy manufacturing, fabrication or engineering environments

• Diploma or certification production, operations, supply chain or related field will be advantageous

• Experience with ERP / MRP systems

• Effective time management

• Excellent computer literacy skills

• Provide administrative and operational support to the factory by managing production work orders, ensuring accurate inventory transactions, processing variances and supporting production planning

• Ensure that production data and system transactions are accurate, timely and aligned with operational requirements

• Developing and delivering on monthly manducating schedule with the Factory Supervisor

• Capturing production receipts, closing works orders

• Support the factory schedule and logistics

• Ensure that the factory processes are efficient

• Ensure that customers receive a consistent quality product meeting the required internal and external quality standards with every order

• Ensure that raw material, spares and consumables tock levels are maintained to minimise downtime

• Monitoring and updating preventative maintenance schedules

• Identifying, sourcing and providing training to develop the manufacturing team

• Ensure that product quality is maintained

• Working closely with the warehouse, technical services, sales teams to ensure that customers’ needs are met
