Your future role

  • Take on a new challenge and apply your maintenance expertise in a cutting-edge environment. You'll work alongside dedicated, innovative, and collaborative teammates.
  • You'll play a key role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of our facility systems and infrastructure. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business such as Supply Chain, Production, and Quality, oversee the performance of facility contractors, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence.
  • You'll specifically take care of maintaining and monitoring facility systems, as well as supporting improvement and refurbishment projects, but also ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

We'll look to you for

  • Performing planned, preventative, and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
  • Ensuring maximum availability and reliability of production equipment, utilities, and facility systems.
  • Conducting root cause analysis on equipment failures and implementing corrective actions.
  • Maintaining and monitoring facility utility systems, including electrical distribution and compressed air systems.
  • Supervising contractors to ensure safety, compliance, and quality workmanship.
  • Proposing and supporting energy-saving and cost-reduction projects involving utilities and services.

  • Trade Qualification as a Millwright.
  • IT literacy Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Copilot.
  • English fluency.
  • Maintenance background with a minimum of 5 years' experience in electrical maintenance.
  • Experience maintaining gas-heated spray booths, shot blast machines, and welding machines.
  • Knowledge of installation rules and regulations SANS 10142.
  • Familiarity with HV switching and switching procedures.
  • Working knowledge of Quality and Health & Safety standards and systems.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Self-motivation and adaptability to change.
