Qualification Requirements To be successful in this role, you will have successfully completed Grade 12 and be registered either as a Phlebotomy Technician with the HPCSA or Medical Technologist (Clinpath) registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA). In addition, you will be a registered Facilitator, bringing recognised expertise and credibility to the learning environment. Your professional qualifications will enable you to support learners with confidence while ensuring learning interventions are relevant, practical, and aligned to industry standards. You will bring valuable healthcare and training experience that enables you to engage learners effectively and create meaningful development opportunities. This includes at least 2 years working experience as a qualified Phlebotomy and 2 years working experience as a Technologist: Clinpath. Your experience will allow you to connect theory with real-world application, helping learners develop competence, confidence, and professional excellence. You will be passionate about sharing knowledge, developing future talent, and creating learning experiences that encourage growth and continuous improvement. You will be comfortable using computer technology to support learning delivery, administration, and communication. Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Afrikaans will enable you to engage effectively with diverse learners and stakeholders. You will have the ability to apply sound training and facilitation techniques, creating interactive learning environments that encourage participation, curiosity, and knowledge sharing. Your facilitation style will inspire confidence and collaboration while helping learners achieve meaningful outcomes. A solid understanding of basic numerical calculations will support the effective delivery of training content and assessment activities. Equally important are your coaching and mentoring abilities. You will be skilled at recognising potential in others, identifying development opportunities, and creating a supportive environment where learners feel encouraged to grow, learn, and succeed.
