A leading supplier of industrial instrumentation and valve solutions is seeking an External Technical Sales Engineer to join their Cape Town branch. This role is focused on driving sales growth, increasing brand awareness, and expanding market presence across the Western and Eastern Cape regions.
The successful candidate will manage existing accounts, develop new business opportunities, prepare quotations and presentations, and contribute to branch profitability through effective market penetration strategies and exceptional customer service.
Education
- Matric.
- Technical qualification advantageous.
Job Experience & Skills Required
- Proven sales experience within a technical or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation and valves advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain customer relationships.
- Experience preparing quotations and delivering technical sales presentations.
- Strong business development and market penetration skills.
- Self-motivated with a proactive and results-driven approach.
- Own reliable transport and willingness to travel extensively.
- Excellent communication, planning, and reporting skills.
