Job Title: External Sales Representative Start Date: 2026-08-04 - 2026-09-02 Vacancy Type: Permanent JHB003983 Sectors: Manufacturing Location: Western Cape , Greater Cape Town Area Salary: (Market related, Negotiable) Brief: business development|cape town|car allowance|electrical engineering|external sales|fuel card|mechanical engineering|medical aid|perm|provident fund Exciting career opportunity for a driven Sales Representative within an industrial machinery manufacturing company Detail: Minimum Requirements: Matric Certificate/NQF Level 4 Electrical Qualification or The Equivalent 4-5 Years' sales experience in the electrical engineering industry (electrical background is critical) Previous customer service experience Proficient on MS Word and Excel Ax system / Syspro knowledge advantageous Previous experience in the material handling and crane industry beneficial Previous experience in flexible cable beneficial Electrical & mechanical field experience Material handling knowledge of all types of industrial applications Responsibilities: Receive inbound Customer sales inquiries Provide quotations, product / service information, support and pricing details in response to inbound enquiries Promote the features and benefits of the company's products / services Process sales orders and arrange the dispatch and administration of products / services sold Receive, manage or escalate Customer complaints related to the sale of the company's products / services Maintain sales statistics and records of sales performance Provide administrative support for the production of RFIs, RFPs, RFQs and other sales related documents Identify sales leads and escalate them to external Sales staff Maintain Client databases Work closely with External Sales Representatives and act as a support Work closely with Internal Sales Manager Attend to existing buying Customers New customer development Develop and grow all product ranges Assist with technical support on sites Cold calling Generate new Customer growth Quotation follow ups Weekly reports Market research Assist at shows Comply with any reasonable tasks given by all members of management from time to time TO APPLY: Only if you meet the minimum job requirements and experience as mentioned above, you may submit a detailed updated CV.
