External Sales Representative / Junior to Mid-Level Business Developer

Introduction

Our client, a pioneer and leader within the solar sector , is looking for a driven Junior to Mid-Level Business Developer with strong networking skills to join their team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a young, energetic hunter who is passionate about renewable energy and thrives on building relationships and opening doors. If you have a natural ability to network, connect, and create business opportunities within the commercial, industrial and agricultural markets, this role is for you.

You will play a key role in driving growth by identifying new clients, building a strong sales pipeline and representing a trusted brand.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the solar PV and renewable energy market

• Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive networking and relationship management

• Actively network, attend industry events, and leverage contacts to generate leads

• Conduct market research and identify trends, competitors and potential clients

• Develop and present proposals, pitches and quotations in collaboration with the technical team

• Manage and maintain sales pipeline, CRM and reporting on business development activities

• Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, projects, marketing) to ensure successful project handover

• Represent the company as a brand ambassador in the renewable energy sector

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Proven track record of strong networking and relationship building skills

• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills

• Self-starter, target-driven, and able to work independently

• Valid driver’s license and own transport – willing to travel for client meetings

Package & Remuneration

R20 000 - R40 000 CTC per month + commission (depending on experience)
