The role requires strong communication skills, a proactive sales approach, and the ability to represent the company professionally to retail, wholesale, and hospitality clients. Key Responsibilities: Sales & Business Development: Identify and secure new clients within the retail, wholesale, butchery, hospitality, and food-service sectors. Conduct regular client visits to promote products, introduce new ranges, and drive order growth. Achieve monthly sales targets and expand market penetration in the region. Prepare and present product information, pricing, and promotional offers to customers. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers. Provide ongoing support, resolve queries, and ensure customer satisfaction. Monitor client buying patterns and recommend suitable product solutions. Manage customer accounts, follow up on orders, and ensure timely delivery coordination. Territory Management: Plan and execute weekly route schedules for client visits. Maintain accurate records of visits, sales activities, and customer interactions. Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and competitor activity. Represent the company at trade shows, demonstrations, and promotional events when required. Administration & Reporting: Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports. Submit orders, quotations, and customer feedback to management. Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and on time. Work closely with internal teams to coordinate stock availability and product information. Qualifications: Matric (required). Sales or Marketing qualification (advantageous). Experience: Minimum 4-6 years external sales experience, preferably in FMCG, food products, spices, packaging, or related industries. Proven track record of meeting sales targets. Experience working with retail, wholesale, or hospitality clients. Skills & Competencies: Strong communication and negotiation skills. Excellent relationship-building ability. Target-driven with strong commercial awareness. Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory. Good administrative and reporting skills. Fluent in Afrikaans and English (written & spoken). Key Attributes: Professional, confident, and customer-focused. Self-motivated with a proactive sales approach.
