Our client, a leading player in manufacturing, is seeking a committed External Sales Consultant to strengthen their team. Where You'll Make an Impact
- Understand and meet customer needs, ensuring ongoing profitability
- Follow up on quotations and expedite processes
- Achieve monthly sales targets by actively managing accounts
- Provide weekly reports on calls and activities
- Inform management about market conditions, potential projects, and competitor activity
- Enter customer orders into SAP and follow up for timely delivery
- Manage and control account and cash sales with Finance
- Oversee stock holdings and source both stocked and non-stocked items
- Grow new accounts and maintain strong customer relationships
- Attend functions and entertain clients to foster business growth
- Uphold company values, vision, and mission at all times
Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 qualification
- 3 to 5 years proven sales experience in Carbon, Alloy, BMS, Stainless, and Spring Steel
- Extensive knowledge of the peeled and drawn steel market
- Skills in sales, negotiation, and reporting
Nice to Have
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
What We'll Give You
- Salary: R30,000 - R33,000 per month (Cost to Company)
