A well-established transport and logistics provider specializing in household and corporate relocations is seeking a dynamic, mid-to-senior level External Sales Consultant .
Based in Pretoria, this role requires a seasoned sales professional with direct experience in the furniture removals industry, strong site-survey capabilities, and a proven track record of securing high-value move contracts across Gauteng.
Duties & Responsibilities
Site Surveys & Costing: Conduct detailed on-site client visits, assess furniture volumes/special handling requirements, and formulate precise move costings.
Business Development & Tenders: Drive local and regional relocation sales, complete formal tender requests, and follow up rigorously on open quotes.
Client Relationship Management: Provide end-to-end customer care, address client correspondence, and ensure clear communication throughout the move lifecycle.
File Management & Operations: Open, manage, and update files for secured moves, keeping sales pipelines and monthly reports accurate and up to date.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Industry Experience: Solid, verifiable background specifically within the Furniture Removals, Relocation, or Logistics sector (non-entry-level).
Regional Base: Resident in Pretoria with extensive local market knowledge across Gauteng.
Technical Proficiency: Competent in Google Workspace, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word
Licensing: Valid Driver’s License (Code 8 minimum).
Core Skills: Excellent spatial reasoning for volume estimation, strong negotiation skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to perform under tight deadlines.
