Export Operations Supervisor - Killarney Gardens CPT - R30 000 p/m

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the export team, allocate work and monitor daily targets. • Process export orders and maintain regular communication with international customers. • Coordinate with production, stores and other departments to meet delivery deadlines. • Arrange courier, airfreight and sea-freight shipments. • Prepare and submit accurate export and shipping documentation. • Obtain and negotiate freight rates with forwarders and shipping lines. • Prepare invoices, credits, stock transfers and backflushing transactions. • Monitor backorders and ensure orders are dispatched accurately and on time. • Issue quotations, samples and order acknowledgements. • Coordinate export packaging, pallets and related materials. • Assist with stock control, stock takes and forecasting. • Liaise with Quality Control regarding customer complaints and product-related issues. • Maintain accurate customer pricing and product information on the system. • Monitor departmental timesheets, attendance and leave. Minimum Requirements:

• Solid experience in exports, shipping or international logistics.
• Sound understanding of the complete export process, from customer order to final shipment.
• Experience working with freight forwarders, couriers, airfreight and sea freight.
• Good knowledge of export and shipping documentation.
• Previous experience supervising or leading a small operational team.
• Strong international customer communication and administrative skills.
• Good numerical, organisational and problem-solving ability.
• Able to manage multiple orders, priorities and deadlines accurately.
• Comfortable working closely with production, stores, stock control and Quality Control.
• Willing to remain operationally involved and work in the detail.
