Start free — we apply for you →Job Title: EXPORT MANAGER Start Date: 2026-08-06 - 2026-09-05 Vacancy Type: Permanent CPT001262 Sectors: Manufacturing Location: Western Cape , Killarney Gardens Salary: R25 000.00 - R30 000.00 Brief: cape town|export|logistics|manager|supply chain EXPORT MANAGER – KILLARNEY GARDENS Salary: R25 000 – R30 000 CTC per month A well-established manufacturing company is seeking an experienced and highly organized Export Manager to manage its export orders, international shipping arrangements, customer communication, stock coordination and departmental workflow. The successful candidate will oversee the export process from receipt of an order through to final delivery, while coordinating with customers, production departments, freight providers and internal staff. Detail: Minimum Requirements Grade 12 / Matric. A relevant certificate or diploma in Export Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade or Business Administration would be advantageous. Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in export administration, international shipping or export order management. Previous experience supervising staff or coordinating a department. Practical experience arranging sea freight, airfreight and courier shipments. Experience working with freight forwarders and shipping lines. Sound knowledge of export and shipping documentation. Experience with invoicing, order processing, stock control and delivery coordination. Manufacturing industry experience would be advantageous. Strong computer literacy and data-capturing skills. Key Responsibilities Process export orders and ensure that customer requirements are correctly captured. Communicate with customers regarding orders, pricing, delivery dates and shipment progress. Follow up on outstanding orders and customer requirements. Send order acknowledgements and confirmations to customers. Coordinate export packaging requirements, including pallets and related materials. Liaise with production and other departments to ensure delivery deadlines are achieved. Monitor backorders and follow up to ensure the timely delivery of orders. Arrange courier services, airfreight and sea freight. Request and compare freight quotations. Negotiate competitive rates with freight forwarders and shipping lines. Complete and submit all relevant export and shipping documentation. Manage invoicing, credits, immediate transfers and related system processes. Load and update contract pricing and customer forecasts. Submit product samples and pricing to customers. Liaise with Quality Control regarding customer complaints and provide feedback to customers. Identify errors on Bills of Materials and request the necessary amendments. Assist with stock control, stock counts and data capturing. Monitor staff timesheets, leave and daily performance targets. Allocate work and provide instructions to departmental staff.
