EXPERIENCED CONTROL ROOM OPERATOR - CCTV & OFFSITE MONITORING

Introduction

Control Room Operator with experience in a busy control room ,with experience in CCTV & Alarm monitoring Duties & Responsibilities

Looking for a Senior experienced Control Room Operator with CCTV monitoring training and experience to join our team.

REQUIREMENTS – NOT NEGOTIABLE

•    Must have at least 5 years' Control Room operating experience

•    Must have CCTV monitoring experience

•    Must be very computer literate with MS word and excel proficiency

•    Must have relevant CCTV monitoring training certificates

•    Must have experience with Easy Roster

•    Must have experience in alarm monitoring and monitoring security officers

•    Must be PSIRA registered

•    Must have no criminal record

•    Must be reliable and hardworking

•    Must currently reside in Johannesburg, preferably close to Edenvale

•    Must be computer literate and able to learn and work confidently on multiple security monitoring platforms

DUTIES

•    Liaising with security officers

•    Liaising with management regarding incidents

•    Live monitoring of CCTV cameras and offsite sites

•    Monitoring alarms and reacting to activations

•    Monitoring security officers and patrol activities

•    Attending to panic alerts and failed check-ins

•    Actioning positive intrusions, alarms and other incidents

•    Following the correct escalation procedures and SOPs

•    Rostering and capturing attendance on Easy Roster

•    Loading new sites, officers and other relevant information onto applicable systems

•    Maintaining records, including the OB Book

•    General Control Room administration

•    Ensuring accurate incident records and reporting

Desired Experience & Qualification

Easy Roster

•    Auto-scheduling of rosters

•    Capturing daily actual attendance from posting sheets

•    Loading new security officers

•    Loading new sites onto the system

Ajax

•    Adding new sites

•    Adding and updating SOPs

•    Removing or stopping monitoring on handed-over properties

•    Actioning positive intrusions

Watch Manager

•    Loading new sites

•    Actioning alerts and escalations

Saving master codes for handed-over properties

•    Creating new VF numbers

•    Adding and updating SOPs

Lytehouse

•    Offsite monitoring of sites

•    Actioning positive and false alarms

•    Escalating incidents according to procedure

DeepAlert

•    Offsite monitoring

•    Actioning positive and false alarms

OnGuard Patrolling System

•    Monitoring security officer patrols on sites

•    Identifying and following up on patrol exceptions

Computer Literate to learn our internal software system

•    Loading new site details

•    Loading caretaker and inspector details

•    Attending to failed check-ins

•    Responding to panic alerts
