About the Role Our client is seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeper to join their cleaning and facilities services team in a hospitality-focused environment in Cape Town’s Southern Suburbs. This is a 3-month fixed-term contract suited to a hands-on leader with strong organisational and people management skills, a passion for service excellence, and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and service delivery. Duties & Responsibilities

What you’ll be doing

• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact.

• Ensure service level agreement (SLA) compliance, quality assurance, and consistent service delivery.

• Conduct regular site inspections and client feedback meetings.

• Resolve client complaints efficiently and escalate issues when necessary.

• Coordinate staff training, conduct performance reviews, and manage staffing levels.

• Monitor operational costs, consumables, equipment requirements, and wage expenditure.

• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) requirements, conduct audits, and manage incident reporting.

• Drive a culture of accountability and performance through coaching and constructive feedback.

• Identify potential new business leads and opportunities to expand services.

• Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

What you’ll need

• At least 5 years’ experience in a leadership or housekeeping role, preferably within hospitality or cleaning services.

• Strong communication, people management, and client relationship skills.

• Knowledge of SLA management, OHS compliance, budgeting, and operational processes.

• A proactive, organised, and solutions-driven approach, with a strong commitment to quality.

• An understanding of South African labour and occupational health and safety legislation.

• Relevant qualifications in hospitality, facilities management, or a related field will be advantageous.
