- Hire Resolve's Client is currently looking for an experienced Executive Head Of Finance Mining to join their mining company based in North-West. You will be responsible for providing strategic financial leadership by overseeing financial planning, reporting, governance and commercial support to ensure sound financial performance and informed business decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight of the finance function to support business objectives.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes across the organisation.
- Oversee financial reporting, management accounts and year-end financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, tax and financial reporting requirements.
- Manage treasury, cash flow and working capital to support operational requirements.
- Develop and maintain effective financial controls, governance frameworks and risk management processes.
- Provide financial analysis, modelling and commercial support for business initiatives and capital projects.
- Lead audit processes and liaise with internal and external auditors.
- Drive continuous improvement of financial systems, processes and reporting.
- Lead, mentor and develop the finance team to promote high performance and succession planning.
Requirements
- National Senior Certificate
- CASA
- Minimum 15 years' finance experience, including senior financial management within a mining environment
- Experienced in JSE listed requirements
- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
- Strong knowledge of taxation, statutory compliance and financial governance.
- Experience in treasury, cash flow management and financial modelling.
- Experience with ERP systems e.g. SAP or similar.
