Executive Assistant to COO

Our client is a highly regarded organisation within the financial services and investment management sector , operating in a sophisticated, fast-paced environment where professionalism, confidentiality and attention to detail are essential.

They are seeking an exceptionally experienced Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to the COO and senior stakeholders.

This is a strategic executive support position suited to someone who has spent years operating at C-suite level and understands the pace, discretion and judgement required in a senior corporate environment.

This individual will act as a trusted extension of the executive office, managing complex diaries, coordinating high-level meetings and travel, preparing executive materials and ensuring that competing priorities are handled with urgency and precision.

This is not a traditional administrative position. We are looking for an established executive support professional who is accustomed to operating at the highest level. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a complex executive diary, including competing priorities, international commitments and high-level meetings.
  • Prepare and coordinate board packs, presentations, reports and executive documentation.
  • Coordinate local and international travel, accommodation, itineraries and related logistics.
  • Organise executive meetings, events and engagements with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide high-level support to the COO and senior leadership team, anticipating requirements and managing priorities proactively.
  • Handle highly confidential information and executive matters with absolute discretion and professionalism.

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric is non-negotiable, with a relevant Degree, Diploma or Business Administration qualification advantageous.
  • 8–15 years' Executive Assistant / Executive PA experience, with significant C-suite exposure.
  • Proven experience supporting senior executives within financial services, investment management, banking, private equity, consulting, professional services or a multinational corporate environment.
  • MBA, Honours or relevant postgraduate qualification highly advantageous.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency, particularly PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Excel.
  • Exceptional organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, with the maturity, discretion and resilience to operate with minimal supervision.
