Start free — we apply for you →THE JOB AT A GLANCE Performs renewal and service activities to ensure renewal of business from existing business accounts, as assigned, for a specific region. Maintains appropriate level of contact with brokers, individual financial advisors and other customers throughout the year. Identifies and suggests cross-selling opportunities for existing business. RMA-specific purpose: The Executive Account Manager (EAM) will be responsible for identifying and onboarding new Brokers and ensuring the profitable growth of the assigned Broker portfolios through the establishment and maintenance of strong Broker relationships. The EAM will also be responsible for the client relationship management activities and lead generation efforts for the sales and distribution team. WHAT YOU WILL DO Sales Sell standard products and services to customers and/or supervise a team of sales advisers. Resolving Customer Issues Aggregate customer issues and collate the most commonly raised issues in order to create/develop response strategy. Key Account Management Manage and develop important customer relationships with guidance from senior colleagues, and/or manage an account team delivering day-to-day support. Customers are likely to include mid-tier companies, multinational corporations and the like. Stakeholder Management Plan and deliver stakeholder engagement activities to develop effective working relationships for projects and to ensure that stakeholder needs and concerns are identified and met. Sales Opportunities Creation Develop a personal network within the sales territory and represent the organization at trade shows and other events to identify sales opportunities, promote the organization, and enhance its reputation. Commercial Insurance Advice Advise potential clients on the insurance of complex, high-value risks and guide them in their choice of commercial insurance solutions, configuring proposals that meet their business needs and utilizing the expertise of in-house underwriting specialists where relevant. Commercial Insurance Renewal Proposals Develop and present proposals for renewal of complex, high-value commercial insurance contracts to reflect any changes in clients' needs, and/or changes to product design, and/or changes in the organization's risk appetite, utilizing the expertise of in-house underwriting specialists where relevant. Sell Customer Propositions Use personal expertise to identify the complex standard products and/or services offered by the organization that meet the customer's needs, together with quantities and product configurations. Present these to the customer with a clear rationale and at standard commercial terms, referring to senior colleagues where necessary to ask for concessions (e.g., price reduction) that gain the customer's agreement.
