The Table or The Fire is a powerful live speaking event exploring the choices we make in life, relationships, addiction, healing, personal responsibility, connection and transformation.

The event creates a safe and engaging space for people to hear real stories, challenge their thinking and consider an important question:

Are we willing to sit at the table and have the conversations that can change our lives or do we wait until life forces us into the fire?

The events are designed to inspire honest conversation, self-awareness, healing and meaningful change.

The Opportunity

We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated and well-connected Event Promoters to help build audiences for events in different cities and communities throughout South Africa.

The Event Promoter will be responsible for creating awareness of the event, generating interest and helping sell tickets by connecting the event with local communities, organisations, businesses and individuals.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys marketing, networking, social media, community engagement and events.

Key Responsibilities Promote The Table or The Fire in your local area. Share event information through social media, WhatsApp groups and community networks. Identify potential audiences, organisations and community groups. Approach businesses, churches, schools, organisations and other relevant groups where appropriate. Distribute promotional material and event information. Encourage individuals and groups to attend the event. Assist with generating ticket sales and audience registrations. Build relationships with local influencers and community leaders. Identify opportunities for local publicity, interviews and promotional partnerships. Assist with local event promotion before and during the event. Provide regular feedback on promotional activities and audience interest.

Energetic and enthusiastic. Confident communicating with people. Comfortable using WhatsApp, Facebook and other social media platforms. Well connected within their local community. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Passionate about personal development, relationships, healing and positive social change. Comfortable approaching businesses, organisations and individuals. Results-oriented and motivated by achieving ticket sales.

Previous event-promoting or sales experience is advantageous but not essential.
