Job Title: Event Manager Start Date: 2026-08-06 - 2026-09-05 Vacancy Type: Permanent PTA026208 Sectors: Sales & Marketing & PR Location: SA - Gauteng , Johannesburg CBD Salary: Brief: HOSPITALITY EVENT MANAGER Location: JHB (In-Office) Salary R45 000 - R50 000 CTC (depending on experience) + Medical Aid + Pension The Event Manager is responsible for the delivery of an assigned B2B exhibition, with accountability for revenue performance, cost control, event planning, and day-to-day management of the event team. The role ensures the event is delivered to agreed commercial, operational, and quality standards Detail: Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver B2B exhibitions from concept to completion. Coordinate with Operations, Marketing, Content, Finance, and Sales teams. Manage event budgets, forecasting, and cost control. Achieve revenue targets through exhibition space, sponsorships, and new commercial opportunities. Build and maintain relationships with key exhibitors, sponsors, industry associations, and partners. Support and execute sales strategies to maximise exhibitor retention and customer satisfaction. Oversee marketing campaigns and event content programmes to drive visitor attendance. Provide guidance and support to internal teams while promoting collaboration. Maintain accurate event records and provide regular commercial and operational reports. Minimum Requirements Relevant qualifications in the Hospitality field. Proven experience managing B2B exhibitions or events. Strong commercial acumen with budget management experience. Excellent project management and organisational skills. Strong relationship-building, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
