- Our client, a leading events and catering company in Johannesburg, is looking for a Junior Coordinator with a passion for culinary creativity and event design. This role involves transforming client visions into unforgettable, food-focused celebrations.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to create personalized, luxurious event concepts.
- Present event mock-ups and tastings to ensure alignment with client expectations.
- Stay updated on food and event trends to suggest innovative ideas.
- Work with chefs to design menus that enhance the event experience.
- Manage budgets, vendor sourcing, and event logistics from start to finish.
- Lead a team to ensure smooth execution and problem-solving.
Requirements
- Strong creativity and attention to detail, especially in food presentation.
- Excellent client communication and adaptability.
- Proven organizational skills managing budgets and timelines.
- A relevant degree is required.
- 3-5 years experience leading teams in event coordination.
