- Provides assistance on projects in the Environmental Planning and Climate Protection Department.
- Assists with the work of the Biodiversity Planning Branch during the course of its day-to-day activities.
- Collects, collates and assesses presentation of information collected through research and surveys.
- Contributes to the implementation of the National Environmental Impact Assessment Regulations and ensuring compliance with legislation.
- Assists with the work of the Climate Protection Branch.
- Responds to or re-directs enquiries from the public on biodiversity and climate change matters of a routine nature.
- Maintains the electronic databases systems.
- Undertakes site investigations with other EPCPD staff.
- Responds or redirects from the public on biodiversity and climate change matters of a routine nature.

Qualifications Essential Requirements:
- Diploma NQF Level 6 in Environmental Science or Environmental Management or any other related and equivalent qualification.
- Valid motor vehicle driving license
- 1 Year relevant experience
- Computer Literacy.
Preferred Requirements
- 2 Years relevant experience.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to undertake field work.
