Our client, an established organization committed to maintaining high safety standards, is seeking a dedicated EHS Intern to support their ongoing safety initiatives and compliance efforts. What You'll Do:
- Assist in ensuring compliance with Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) legislation and company policies
- Support the implementation of safety procedures, standards, and risk controls
- Participate in conducting and reviewing risk assessments (HIRA – Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment)
- Assist with Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Safe Work Procedures development
- Support in organizing and delivering safety training sessions and toolbox talks
- Help with induction programs for new employees
Requirements
- Relevant qualification or degree in a related field
- Analytical skills and the ability to work effectively within a team

- Basic understanding of safety protocols and legislation
- RPE (Respiratory Protective Equipment) knowledge is advantageous
- Familiarity with R programming or related analytical tools is a plus

- Automotive and manufacturing industry practices
- Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA)
- Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
