Are you a recently qualified Mechanical Engineer looking to launch your career in a dynamic engineering and manufacturing environment?
Our client is seeking a driven and technically minded Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer to join their engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or junior engineer to gain hands-on exposure to mechanical design, manufacturing processes, engineering projects and product development while working alongside experienced engineering professionals. Duties & Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with the design and development of mechanical components, equipment and systems.
- Support engineers with 3D CAD modelling, drawings and technical documentation.
- Assist with engineering calculations, specifications and design verification.
- Participate in product development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of Bills of Materials (BOMs), manufacturing drawings and technical packs.
- Liaise with production, procurement and suppliers to support engineering requirements.
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical and manufacturing-related issues.
- Participate in engineering projects from concept through to implementation.
- Conduct basic analysis and engineering investigations under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Ensure designs and engineering documentation comply with relevant quality, safety and technical standards.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- BEng / BSc / BTech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2–4 years' experience in a mechanical engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Graduate Engineers are encouraged to apply.
- Exposure to 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks will be advantageous.
- Basic understanding of mechanical design principles, engineering calculations and manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
- A strong willingness to learn, develop and gain practical engineering experience.
