- Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent qualification that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council SANC, as a Nursing Assistant.
- Knowledge of nursing care, processes and procedures. Ability to function within a community. Provide healthcare services.
- Good communication skills and keep patient information confidential. Ability to work under pressure and must be able to work shifts
Duties
- Practice nursing in accordance with relevant laws and regulations of nursing. Maintain ethical standards of nursing, including professional development.
- Provide elementary nursing care, which entails clinical observation, maintenance of hygiene and nutritional status of patients. Create a safe and therapeutic environment.
- Be responsible for the efficient and effective utilization of resources. Render support to Nursing Professionals. Assist patients with activities of daily living. Patient care.
- Adhere to Batho Pele Principles, Patients Right Charter. Communicate effectively with patients, supervisors, and other clinicians.
