- Nurture Health is seeking a compassionate and patient-centred Enrolled Nurse to join our interdisciplinary rehabilitation team. Reporting to the Nursing Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the Registered Nurse in delivering high-quality nursing care, monitoring patient progress, and enabling patients to actively participate in their rehabilitation journey. You will work closely with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to achieve meaningful patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute daily nursing duties and allocated patient care activities in accordance with Nurture Health's nursing policies, processes, and systems.
- Monitor patients' clinical status, recognise and report changes, and contribute information that supports interdisciplinary clinical decision-making.
- Deliver hands-on nursing care, including skin and wound care, continence care, medication administration within scope, basic life support, and compliance with care bundles.
Requirements
- Registered with the South African Nursing Council SANC as an Enrolled Nurse, with proven experience caring for medically complex patients within the private healthcare sector.
- Strong clinical observation, communication, organisational, and teamwork skills, with the ability to respond effectively to changes in patient condition and work within structured routines.
- Passionate about rehabilitation and patient wellbeing, committed to ethical nursing practice, accountability, professionalism, continuous learning, and collaboration.
