A leading organisation is seeking a highly experienced Warehouse & Inventory Manager

Purpose of the Job To manage & control the supply of engineering spare parts and manage working capital to acceptable levels, within the company.

Required outputs: Functional

• Accurate management of inventory and effective storekeeping
• Ensure availability of spare parts to Manufacturing plants, Engineering, front end business units
• Oversee all Spares operations for the entire operations to ensure uniform and world-class standards are in place
• Engineering spares purchase management
• Ensure SAP inventory data reconciles with the physical stock on a daily basis for all sites.
• Responsible for managing working capital to acceptable levels, balancing supply and demand requirements
• Comply with governance and established policies, systems, procedures and practices
• Comply with Safety, Health and Environment standards
• People management, supervision, leadership and development of Warehouse staff
• Implement & drive continual business improvement and change management

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Requirements

• Diploma or Technical qualification in Supply Chain/Engineering
• 5 years’ experience in an Inventory Management environment of which includes operating at a supervisory level.
• Technical experience is a MUST
• SAP knowledge and MRP experience
