Requirements
• A BSC in Civil Engineering • 5 years of experience working within an Insurer or a Underwriting Manager • Understanding of engineering risks, construction contracts, building codes, and machinery. • Familiarity with or willingness to study for FAIS (Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services) qualifications and Regulatory Exams (RE1/RE5) Responsibilities:
- Assessing risks for new and renewal business in engineering insurance
- Setting terms and conditions for policies based on technical evaluations
- Building and maintaining relationships with brokers and clients
- Developing and analyzing engineering risk portfolios
