This is a senior technical role suited to an engineer who can combine hands-on engineering knowledge with high-level technical reporting, client engagement, research and development, and technical problem solving. Detail: BTech / BSc / BEng in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering 10+ years' relevant engineering experience Strong transformer design experience – NON-NEGOTIABLE Proven failure investigation experience – NON-NEGOTIABLE Experience in transmission, distribution or transformer manufacturing Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving capability Experience with R&D, technical submissions and tender costing Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and standards Strong knowledge of IEC, SANS and related standards AutoCAD 2D & 3D proficiency Strong report writing and client-facing communication skills ERP experience; Syspro advantageous As Specialist Recruiters for professionals in your industry, we are well geared to represent your best career interests.
