The successful candidate will report to the Manager and will be responsible for developing detailed job schedules and production plans. Duties and Responsibilities Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly workshop schedules. Coordinate workshop inspection activities. Issue job cards. Monitor progress against planned completion dates. Identify bottlenecks and resource constraints. Allocate work according to available workshop capacity. Update schedules when priorities or requirements change. Review material and component requirements for planned jobs. Identify long-lead items and critical components. Coordinate with Procurement and Stores to confirm availability. Ensure required materials and parts are available before work is scheduled to commence. Monitor outstanding purchase orders and supplier deliveries. Identify material shortages that may cause production delays. Coordinate with Stores regarding material issuing and traceability. Ensure approved job cards are available before work commences. Job cards contain sufficient information to execute the work. Ensure drawings, specifications, procedures, and work instructions are available where required. Correctly prioritize work orders. Update job cards with progress information. Submit completed job cards for inspection, quality verification, and close-out.
