An exciting opportunity exists for a professionally registered Mechanical Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will lead the design and delivery of building services projects, while providing technical guidance, managing project teams, and ensuring high-quality engineering solutions across multiple disciplines. Duties & Responsibilities
Job Description
- Lead the design, coordination, and delivery of mechanical engineering projects
- Manage project scope, budgets, timelines, and quality standards
- Oversee the design of HVAC, wet services, and fire protection systems
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders
- Conduct site visits and support project implementation and commissioning
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 8 years of mechanical building services design and site experience
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, ventilation, wet services, and fire protection systems
- Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and deliver projects to deadlines
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to project sites
Qualification
- BEng, BSc, or BTech in Mechanical Engineering
- Professionally registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer (PrEng)
- Demonstrated experience leading engineering projects from concept through completion
