A well-established international engineering company is seeking an experienced and technically proficient Fan System and Ventilation Engineer to support projects across the African and Middle Eastern regions. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to contribute to turnkey ventilation system solutions for large-scale mining and industrial projects.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Design and selection of fan stations and ventilation systems based on client specifications.
- Prepare and manage detailed technical tender documentation.
- Collaborate with internal engineering and commercial teams to develop optimal project solutions.
- Manage selected projects to ensure delivery on time, within scope, and budget.
- Foster long-term customer relationships through proactive engagement and support.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Minimum Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- Mechanical Engineering degree (BTech, BEng, or BSc Eng).
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a mining or industrial sales environment with Mine Ventilation Engineering experience .
- Sound technical understanding of fans and ventilation systems .
- Practical knowledge of NEC and FIDIC standard contracts.
- Proven experience with tender documentation and basic project management principles.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, AutoCAD, and project management tools.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Membership with ECSA or SAIMechE advantageous.
