Seeking an Aftermarket Engineer for internal department and external clients.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide support to Service, Spares and Manufacturing departments.
- Carry out Engineering tasks and investigations for aftermarket
- New equipment selections & designs
- Assess the condition of existing equipment & generate repair procedures & reports.
- Check & approve (sign-off) designs, repair procedures, drawings & other engineering tasks.
- Provide workable engineering solutions to problems experienced by both internal & external clients.
- Develop external client relationships.
- Provide expert power plant process knowledge.
- Develop & revise documentation
Desired Experience & Qualification
- B.Sc Mechanical Engineering or B.Eng. Mechanical Engineering.
- Fan performance testing and vibration troubleshooting.
- Vibration and welding knowledge and experience.
- 10 years’ experience in a heavy engineering workshop.
