A national programme placing 15 000 South African graduates into workplace internships, running to March 2030.
Graduates are verified, employers are brought on board, workplaces are approved and interns are placed, with every step evidenced to audit standard.
None of that happens without host employers. In the Eastern and Western Cape, one person will make it happen.
Duties & Responsibilities
The role
This seat combines two jobs. You lead the employer book for the region, and you manage the province.
On the employer side, you take every employer in the Eastern Cape and the Western Cape from first contact to active hosting.
On the provincial side, you run the programme's presence in the region. That means the provincial relationships, the office, and the flow of information between the province and head office.
The person in this seat builds the regional employer base, then leads the region once it is running.
What you will deliver
You will also support the programme's work on workplace quality assurance, matching and placement, work readiness and mentorship, and stakeholder communications in the region.

- Current residence in te Eastern Cape or the Western Cape
- A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel regularly across both provinces

- Experience setting up or running mentorship at a workplace
This round is for the Eastern and Western Cape residents only
The role is based in the region, close to the employers and workplaces it serves. Applications from candidates resident outside the Eastern or Western Cape will not be considered for this post.
Package & Remuneration
What we offer
A fixed-term contract running to the programme close-out on 31 March 2030. Over that term you will build a regional employer base from the ground up and then lead the region's operations. The result is measured in young people from the Eastern Cape and Western Cape starting real jobs
