JOB SUMMARY

  • To provide employee wellbeing coordination and support services that promote promote the health, wellbeing, resilience and workplace experience of Members and Employees in Parliament.
  • The role delivers preventative wellbeing initiatives, provides first-line wellbeing guidance and advice, coordinates referrals and wellbeing case management activities, facilitates appropriate support interventions, and contributes to a healthy, inclusive and productive work environment in alignment with the Human Capital Shared Services Strategy.

  • Wellness Programme Development and Implementation
  • Employee Wellness Assistance, Guidance, and Advice including First-Line Counselling
  • Facilitation of Employee Assistance Support and Training
  • Employee Wellbeing Support and Case Management
  • Implementation of Comprehensive Occupational Health Services
  • Employee Wellbeing Experience
  • Execute General Administrative Responsibilities
  • Implement Human Capital Service Delivery Model

To Qualify, You Must Have

  • Grade 12 or NQF Level 4
  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or a Related Psychology Degree, and must be a Professionally Registered Counsellor
  • Professional Registration with the SACSSP or HPCSA as a Counsellor
  • 3 years' experience as an Occupational Social Worker, Employee Wellness Practitioner, or Counsellor within the Organisational Wellness Field
  • Advantageous: Experience in Employee Wellbeing Programme Management, Mental Health, First Aid, and Employee Assistance Programmes
