Embedded Engineer - Production Testing

Introduction

Digital Matter is recruiting for an Embedded Engineer in the Production Testing Team to develop and maintain testing solutions to ensure quality products are built according to design and, to deliver quality outputs on general software, firmware, and hardware projects.

Duties & Responsibilities

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS / KPA’s (Responsibilities, Accountabilities & Duties)

• Design & deliver high quality output within agreed deadlines and driving projects to completion

• High quality tester development, jig building, test, and integration process development

• Maintain and upgrade existing test processes

• Test process and manufacturer support

• High quality prototype   building, testing, and design input where required

• Support internal teams on delivered features

• Ongoing contributions to internal resources (wiki, knowledge share, process documentation etc.)

• Understand & align evaluation goals with comprehensive findings

• Attend firmware & hardware weekly meetings

Electrical Engineering Degree or equivalent

• 0 to 2 years of firmware development experience
