Are you passionate about embedded systems and developing firmware that powers cutting-edge technology? We are seeking a motivated Computer Engineer to join our engineering team and contribute to the design, development, and optimisation of embedded firmware solutions. Duties & Responsibilities
This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career engineer looking to grow their expertise in embedded systems while working on innovative engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain embedded firmware for a range of electronic systems.
- Develop reliable, efficient and scalable firmware using C, C++ and Python.
- Integrate firmware with microcontrollers, sensors and communication interfaces.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop innovative hardware and software solutions.
- Perform firmware testing, debugging and optimisation to ensure high-quality performance.
- Support hardware integration and troubleshooting throughout the development lifecycle.
Minimum Requirements
- BEng in Computer Engineering.
- 1–2 years of relevant industry experience.
- Proficiency in C, C++ and Python.
- Experience with embedded systems and embedded firmware development.
Advantageous Skills
- SQL and database development.
- Assembly language programming.
- Electronic circuit and hardware design.
- Hardware debugging and system integration.
- Experience interfacing firmware with microcontrollers, sensors and communication systems.
