- Our client, a well-established manufacturing company, is seeking a qualified Electrician to join their Engineering team. This role is ideal for a skilled artisan with strong industrial electrical experience, exceptional fault-finding abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installations, modifications, and upgrades.
- Carry out preventative maintenance on plant machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimise downtime.
- Read and interpret electrical circuit diagrams.
- Maintain and troubleshoot industrial electrical systems, automation, and control equipment.
- Work closely with production and maintenance teams to ensure optimal plant performance.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental standards.
Minimum Requirements
- N3 qualification in Electrical Engineering.
- Qualified Electrician with a completed Trade Test.
- Minimum of 3 years' post-trade test experience in a manufacturing or factory environment.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical circuit drawings.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Sound knowledge of
- Electrical switchgear
- Industrial automation
- Electrical circuits and controls
- AC/DC drives and motors
- PLC systems
- Electronic experience will be advantageous.
- Computer literate with a basic understanding of industrial systems.
- Physically fit and able to work in an industrial environment.
