Opportunity is looking for a qualified and experienced Electrician to join our team and ensure the reliable operation of electrical, automated and production systems.
Requirements
Qualified Electrician with recognised Trade Certificate
Minimum 5 years experience in an industrial/production environment
PLC fault-finding and programming experience
Experience with production lines, conveyors and processing equipment
Knowledge of refrigeration systems and cold rooms
Experience with MCCs, VSDs/drives and control panels
Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
Willing to work shifts, weekends and standby
Own reliable transport
Key Responsibilities
Electrical maintenance, inspections and repairs
Fault-finding on PLCs and production equipment
Maintain refrigeration and temperature-control systems
Maintain abattoir equipment, conveyors, hoists and cutting machinery
Assist with installations, upgrades and commissioning
Minimise production downtime
Maintain maintenance records and ensure safety compliance
Salary: Market-related, based on experience and qualifications
