- RPO Recruitment's client, a reputable consulting engineering firm in Cape Town is seeking an experienced Electrical / Mechanical Revit Modeller to join their multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have strong Revit modelling experience within a building services or MEP environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed 3D Revit models for building services projects
- Produce accurate technical drawings and documentation
- Coordinate models across electrical, mechanical and other disciplines
- Identify and resolve clashes and design coordination issues
- Incorporate engineering revisions and maintain drawing/model accuracy
- Assist with BIM coordination and project deliverables
- Work closely with engineers, technicians and other project stakeholders
- Ensure models and drawings comply with project and company standards
Requirements
- Relevant draughting, engineering or technical qualification
- Minimum 5 years' relevant experience
- Strong proficiency in Revit / Revit MEP
- Experience with electrical and/or mechanical building services
- Proficiency in AutoCAD advantageous
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary BIM environment
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
