The successful candidate will provide electrical engineering and technical support to ensure the achievement of operational targets, while maintaining optimal equipment availability, efficiency, and safety within their area of responsibility. Skills allen bradley electrical engineering electrical technician maintenance manufacturing plc robotic systems siemens Detail: Key Responsibilities Technical Support & Maintenance Perform reactive, planned, and preventative maintenance activities. Conduct fault finding, diagnostics, repairs, and root cause analysis on plant equipment. Ensure all maintenance job cards are accurately completed and closed. Maintain and optimise machine process capabilities. Program, maintain, and troubleshoot PLCs and robotic systems. Provide electrical engineering services aligned with production requirements. Stay up to date with equipment and process requirements using maintenance manuals and production documentation. Provide ad hoc technical support across the factory as required. Compliance Operate in accordance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls. Identify and report risks or areas of concern to management. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Maintain accurate documentation and prevent wasteful or irregular expenditure. Customer Service Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Resolve technical issues efficiently while upholding company values and service standards. Cost Control Promote responsible and transparent use of company resources. Monitor and control expenditure within approved budget limits. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs. Report any deviations from financial guidelines to the direct manager. Technical Skills & Knowledge Computer literacy (MS Office Suite). Experience with ERP Systems and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). Strong proficiency in PLC programming and robotic systems. Minimum Requirements Educational Qualifications: National Diploma in Electronic / Electrical / Automotive / Information Technology (NQF 6) Trade Test.
